My Haven Poem by Fritzie Abella

My Haven

Rating: 5.0

Patiently you waited
Off you brace my withered heart
I was lost and haunted
Badly bruised and deserted
The catwalk I can't grace
Yet, I'm lovely
Says your tender gaze
You kiss the tears I shed
The taunting ghost you chase
The numbing winter has passed
Radiant blooms dawn at last!
You are my haven,
my silent refuge-
From your love springs forth
trust and hope.
