“My Hearts Kite”
To walk with you in the moonlight,
Nothing else in my life ever felt so right,
It’s only a short walk, on the beach, or in the neighborhood,
But it feels so right, so remarkable, so good,
We talk, we spar, and we share too,
We know we see, we talk of love true,
Is it the night air, the sea, or the sand?
I think not, it’s the thought, the feeling, a hold of the hand,
No one else would ever do, for it is you that keeps it real, you keep it new,
It is you, and only you that my hearts kite first flew.
