My Home Is For Peace Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

My Home Is For Peace

A chill in the wind
Grotto restaurant like a cave
Spagetti sauce slowly simmers
I have to make life a small room

We are basic
Home is needed
Simplicity is romance shutting doors
Leave the world behind

Black and white photo of Paris in lights
A lake amidst a forest in the hallway
New England beach by a lighthouse
Valley below from a mountain top

Darling let's plant a garden
A maple tree
Keep the wood floors clean
If they blow it up they blow it up

My home is for peace
