You were my inspiration every day
but one day they took you from me
the one person who was there
to help me cope

so many special memories i have
the laughter, pain and tears
but now youve gone to heaven
it's been several years

i wish i could hear your voice one more time
if only to hear you say hi
or just one more hug
to say that ill be fine

i know youll be proud of me know matter what i do
who i choose to be with id know you'd approve
but i need you to know tho your not here
that i miss you every day and love you so dear

thankyou for the memories that we did share
for the love and support and just being there
i know ill carry you in my heart every day
and youll always be here in your own special way.
