My Kind Of Love Poem by IAm LV1

My Kind Of Love

Love is a sacrifice…
One that can't be won…
Given,
Forgiven,
Or taken back…
A sacrifice so significant,
One will never,
Relive,
Revive,
Or necessitate
Once the love has died…
Unless that one,
Suffers from,
Neglect,
Ignorance,
Blank conversations with themselves.
Love is strong,
Futile in its attempt to,
Capture,
Navigate,
Delegate,
How the emotions are spared…
Live,
Learn,
And accept what is given?
Is that what you believe?
You are foolish,
In your belief…
I believe in…
Love at first sight,
Kissing by the moonlight,
Laughing until dawn,
Making love,
All evening long…
Is that what you desire?
Why should you?
You know nothing of,
My kind of love…
My love can be…
Many things,
A ray of emotions,
A bin full of fears…
For my love
Will have you believing,
In the unbelievable…
Monsters under the bed,
Ghosts in your head,
Rainbows and potted gold,
All the while living the untold…
My kind of love is…
Endless,
Powerful,
Radiating,
And heat filled with…
Passion,
Fire,
Pain and
Uttered desire…
For more of…
My love…

A heart touching depiction of love impressively brought forth from the heart with conviction. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing.
