My Lady, My Rock - Poem by Michael P. McParland
My lady is my rock and gets me through,
she gives me reason and helps me improve.
When I'm feeling weak or that the fights too big,
I think of her encouraging me and I get back
up wuth a grin charging back head in to
face that which brings me down.
My lady is the rock of love I know will not erode,
she will stand forever as my monument of strength,
she is one of the few with my family that's
stuck by and cheered me on
never putting limits on where love must begin or end.
My lady is my Angel and my rock solid Queen,
I would give my life for her if it was needed in any way.
My lady is my rock and I love her so very much,
it's not overstating to say she really rocks as well,
she is my everything and I know she truly cares.
My lady is my lover, she is my best friend so dear,
my lady is my soul mate and I love her always and forever.
She is my rock, my Angel, and my Queen,
my lady is what makes my life so happy and worth
living all the time.
