My Last Breath Poem by Lore Me34

My Last Breath

When I see you my heart swoons.
I tremble from your kiss.
I get lost in your eyes.
I love you like my last breath.

You say you love me the same,
and that you can't imagine
your life without me.
You tell me I'm the air that you breathe.

You say all these things,
but then you choke and beat me.

Well as much as I love you;
I must leave. Because
if I stay the next time you
put your hands around my neck
it just might be my last breath.
