My Last Smile Poem by Elizabeth Gaytan

My Last Smile

Rating: 5.0

I onced smiled but it went away.
He brought back that smile and
I smiled and laughed like no other day.

I slowly was falling;
falling in love again.

But you can't have what isn't yours.
You can't love a heart that is already loved.

So you let him go, holding on to his memory.
Wishing that you could let him know.

And at the end your left alone, with no more smiles.
That you can hold.
