My Letter To Ley Poem by Austyne Thomas

Dear Ley
My dearest Ley
I cannot tell you I understand what you are going through
And truthfully I cannot say I hope to
For in matters like this understanding can only come through personal experience
God forbid likewise happens to me
Indeed we would ask where our God is
But I must remind and admonish you that we are first children of God and His plan is perfect
We are to be dead to ourselves and alive to Christ alone, setting aside all feelings and emotion.
We are not to question Him who knows all
I must pitifully warn you to remember those who look to you
As the Scripture says and I must emphasize from Ps 69v9- Do not let those who look to God in faith be discouraged by what happens to you, do not let those looking for God looking up to you come to a dead end by following you.
God is God regardless!
I cannot say be strong in times like this
But I will say embrace all the Spirit has to offer
And may the Almighty God thru His Spirit grant you peace and oneness in this times.
I beg you Ley my dearest, Be strong
Shame the devil, surprise yourself.
And never doubt if I stand by you.
For my best place is by your side.
