My Life Poem by Jeremy Williams

My Life

Every year of my life has brought new experience
At one I spoke my first word
I took my first step at two
At three came nursery
From four onwards I can remember
My first school year was at five
At six I bought my first album
Seven saw my first girlfriend
By eight I was on the stage
At nine I won a swimming prize
By ten I was diving of the high board
At eleven the exams start
First detention at twelve
At thirteen I celebrate my Bar Mitzvah
At fourteen kissing was with tongues
Dating kicked in at fifteen
By sixteen it was puppy love
Seventeen and I could drive
Flew the nest at eighteen
Nineteen saw real love
No longer a teenager at twenty
Twenty one and real life starts soon
