I walked down the valley,
and above the hill,
in search of my friend,
but can't get him still.
I was alone in hard days,
and can't find my ways,
I sailed through river and stream,
but can't find him still.
I was crying without my friend,
but not shying with empty hand,
I was in lurch,
and prayed in church.
I asked the trees and,
many leaves,
the address of my friend.
I am not alone, but lonely without him,
my friend is lost, please find him.
