My Love Poem by Eric Pennington

My Love

I gave you my heart,
And you gave me yours.
The gift you've given me,
Is one I cherish and adore.

You've given me a very precious gift,
And when I look at it, my mind goes adrift.
Away to a place with no worries,
A place full of love stories.

As I look into your eyes,
The world around me is gone.
I can see what's in your heart,
I look for flaws, but find none.

You are as beautiful as the setting sun,
Believe me girl, I'm far from done.
Your heart is pure as gold,
The kind that cannot be sold.

Your spirit is always amazing,
It's due for some good praising.
Your smile is worth a million words,
I think anyone would concur.
