Without Emotion Poem by Eric Pennington

Without Emotion

Without emotion, my day would be routine,
Everyday, it would all be the same thing.
Without emotion, we would lose out on so much,
Like the feeling I get, when I feel your sweet touch.

Without emotion, I could not feel the love I do,
I could not share my heart and my emotions with you.
Without emotion, there would be no happiness or sorrow,
Just the same old thing, today and tomorrow.

Without emotion, Christ would have never died for us,
He'd have much rather sat in Heaven, and not suffer one cut.
Without emotion, the Lord would never have given us the gift of salvation,
But everlasting fire, hell if you will, as your final destination.

Without emotion, the world would crush beneath our feet,
While we sit back and do nothing, we can't handle the heat.
Without emotion, the world would stop in its tracks,
Because no one would care to try and start it back.
