My Love - Poem by Khan W.S Amiziari

Today when I woke up,
I found that I hate the morning
I felt strange, so I stepped out,
But it was true -
I hate the morning
Stranger still,
I couldn't love my roses,
My mist, my gentle winds

I ought to be crazy,
Everything is all the same,
The only difference was-
I couldn't love them.

Lo, I knew why,
You are the reason,
Yeah, You are the reason
Ask me how?

Yesterday,
To you I gave all my love
Wholly,
Wholly that I couldn't love anything else
Tell me - when will you give me back my love
So that I can love my roses,
My mists, and my gentle winds.
