A sad, sad poem
Pour my sorrow into the page
like blood from a wound
But my eyes are dry, so is my pen
You see, my sweet
You've been too good to me
There's no bloodletting between us
Just your soft hands and soft words
Feathering my skin and my ears
My love, bring me some pain
So I can write a poem
