My Love For You Poem by Rebecca Cox

My Love For You

From the day we first met, I wanted to be with you,
Listen to my voice, and you'll know my words are true.

Your love, so tender and warm,
Rests within my heart, so battered and worn.

With every word you say, my wounds all heal.
No words can describe just how that feels.

To know that you love me is more then enough,
But you continue to give me you're sweet love.

Like a timeless river, you're love goes on,
Forever and ever, an endlesss song.

On and on this river flows,
With every mile, you're love only grows.

My love for you goes very deep,
Without you here with me, my heart only weeps.

Longing for you're tneder touch and you're sweet kiss,
The warmth of you're arms, I really do miss.

I love you with all my heart holds,
But, compared to you, it's much less than gold.

I know what your thinking; that these words are not true.
But they are, for I am nothing compared to you.

This poem could go on forever, just like you're love.
Just like a soft song or the coo of a dove.

But i cannot go on forever,
To fully tell of you're love, I could never.

There aren't enough words to tell of you're love,
To tell of you're love for me, or my love for you,
All I know is that these words are true,
Whenever I say, 'Baby, I love you.'
