My Love, Luna Poem by Ronald Chapman

My Love, Luna

Your skin glows like the white pear,
of forbidden fruit, blossoms heavenly,
as the white rose in the purest hope of spring.

My yearning heart rises to your "star song voice" and
leaps like a fox at the whisper of your name, LUNA.

The evening ascends in on a great hoot owl's wing.
I am calmed by your dress that
I carry into the twilight of Venus beams and
hold next to my eyes.

I am filled with hope,
that I may dry your tears of honeydew.

As my soul rises from my heart,
It reminds me of your bright smile.

In the quiet of night,
I listen for the last "I love you" of the spring time.

My cold hands leap to your warm gloves.
I wait in your crystal moonlight for
your secret courtship so that we may shine as one,
hand to hand in search of the glorious blue and
spiritual night of love.
