As the dawn breaks through the darkened skies
I stare at it with bleeding eyes
The day begins like every day
My mind it aches and pains away

I feel every beat, every twang in your heart
I wish i could fix it, make a new start
The first time i held you, my sweet little cutie
I knew from then on you were my little beauty

You loved me so much and it came without warning
That one day in the future, i would be in mourning.
My best friend, you saved me when life was real tough
I want you to know, i cant thank you enough

I will love you always and never forget you
My mate my companion, so glad that i met you.
