My meditaton
Not beyond my sight
A rail passenger halt stands
On the river bank of Kathjuri
Adjacent to an centenarry rail bridge.
Only a passanger train
Passes twice a day
Breaks the dawn
And shut the sun.
Rest of time
A cruel silence
Sweep the platform
Leaving aside
Chirping of birds & bats
Settled in dense branches
Of centennial banyan trees
Extending shades, peace
To poets meditating
Under it
River flows, wind blows
Mind submerge
Beneath time.
A lonely rail passanger halt on river bank stand near a village.Anybody would like to feel its grand age, sereneity and callous shelter Provider, great banyan trees. The sun, moon and stars are accessible from the rail bridge and silence reigns except twice a day.
A rail halt really stands near us in our mind after reading such a nice and amazing poem very brilliantly penned. Cruel silence sweeps the platform and we hear the voice. You have really very brilliant skill to represent the poem. An amazing sharing is done here really.10
