My Mistress Poem by Edwin Tanguma

My Mistress

My Mistress

I no longer love her
We’ve gone our separate ways
She’s found herself a new lover
To idle her time away

She thought that she knew me
Though she never had a clue
How much I truly did love her
With love so simple yet true
