what do I offer?
To take care 
Of my ailing mother 
I pray and remember her 

What was her advice?
When I opted for defense service
She kept on crying 
And went on enquiring 

Brother disclosed the fact
She showed blessing words with the visible act 
"My son is brave"
I must not lose nerve 

She may not write a word
To worry me but look forward
With conciliatory feelings
And always advised to bring honor 

Today she is no more
Still, I adore
Her image in dreams
And always see her in the light beam
