My Mother Poem by Stanislaus Ayyadurai

My Mother

My mother is the grammar of my life
Leads me safely from every strife.
She teaches me to live
'cause of her, I'm alive.

She is loving and compassionate
Always she is very affectionate.
She cares and feels for me
Understands and looks after me.

So much she bothers about me
In her, all the virtues I do see.
Fed me her blood as milk
Her touch is as soft as silk.

She's my first and the best teacher
Leading me to a successful future.
The journey from her womb
Is my life till I reach tomb.
