My Mother And I Walking Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

My Mother And I Walking

My mother and I walking
Met a hag bent and sinister
One eye was closed
And she fixed her glassy look on us
Ah! That was some two years
Before the misfortune of my mother's death
Still I remember the hag sinister
And she fixed her glassy look on us.
