My New Life Poem by Sabrina ,

My New Life

Rating: 5.0

heavy makeup,
lip gloss,
nail polish,
high heels,
tight skirt

ready for the party
couple friends arrived
hey my love, I was just waiting for you!

That's not me anymore
I just arrived from the hospital
bad end to the last party I went

the pain is managed now
but legs are too heavy when they won't move by themselves
the home nurse put me to bed
but I hope to wake up from this nightmare

I should have stayed at home as my parents asked
I should have used the seat belt
I should have told them to drive safe
I should not be condemned to life in a wheelchair

As bad as it may seem, be grateful that you still have your life. Thanks for sharing and may you be blessed always..........

This is not a poem. It is a call to all. To all who go out and brave the world. This, could be you. How brave are we? GW62
