Every Night Poem by Sabrina ,

Every Night

Rating: 5.0

under the moonlight
I ride back home
exhaused I arrive
to my room I go

my shoulders are sore for so much work
my arms are tender for the excess weight
my hands are hardened by the wheels
my legs were there, inert, laughing at me

I'm sorry I didn't avoid the accident
but now I have to replace them
the wheelchair will do the job
and it won't complain

I lost the use of my legs
even thow they are still part of me
paralysed
locked in themselves

I put myself to bed
and make them confortable on cushions
I don't want to cause more hurt
with pressure sores

I wish I could heal them
I searched so hard for the cure
but the only thing I can do for now
is join them in my dreams

Very deep heartfelt poem............ Though you have been able to convey a very firm message that sometimes the most weakest thing becomes your strength and helps you move on with new ambition...........nicely conveyed...........10/10
