My Oldest Friend Poem by Robert W.Quilter

My Oldest Friend

my oldest friend
he says carefully
is sharing a cell, and a toilet
with a man who probably
knifed a Thai family of four
just a couple of days ago.

my sister was screwed in a ditch
nothing could possibly shock me
so go on,
tell.
