i do not
own this poem
as soon as it
is written
and posted this
becomes ours

you may take
it at home and
read it under
the privacy of
your bed light.

oh, do not bother
about asking
my permission
because as you
may know
i may have
scribbled it
but it was never
mine

it comes from
nowhere
but if you believe
it must have
come from God

or if you don't
it comes from
Psyche or
that soul or
that conscience
that every morning
wakes us up
as it speaks
and makes us write.
