My Poems During The Covid Times.... Poem by RIC BASTASA

as we are on
house quarantine
for a month or so
subject to extension
we learned to
change our lifestyles,
staying in the house
noting what can be
done to such detail,
like changing a
landscape
repairing broken chairs
or making the floors
more clean and shiny,
gathering stones to
make a fence
doing some hair cut
for the dogs
repainting the stair
and rails of the
house,
listening to Beatles,
doing some exercises
and well
as usual composing
what i still
consider as
poems.
