On the lonely Journey of life;
With me is my Shepherd.
When difficulty my path assail;
With me is my Shepherd

When perplexed my crown is distressed
With me is my Shepherd
Then suddenly my life is in dread,
Anoint my head O my Shepherd.

His hands on my feet when I an weak
With me is still my Shepherd.
And when the noise of battle sore
With me is my Shepherd.

My fear with pressure is raised
With my is my Shepherd
Then by his power they dissipate
With me is my great Shepherd

And now the dark to light is turned
With me is my Shepherd
He bid me lay down and be still
With me is my peaceful Shepherd

At last the door did stand ajar
His light shines like a brilliant star
And then I see my trouble's ore
He will ever be my precious Shepherd.
