I was missing from the pew for a time
Until he came to be the preacher there
I never mind who he was
I truly did not care
Then on that day when Swanko came
An to church he said, "we must go"
Baffled at his sure invite
I really did not care
Well, off to church at Union side
Boy, the little church was filled
Horatious preached a sermon
That I remember still.
I then returned to my home church
And met the preacher again
He blazed like torrential raindrops
A message of love and pain
My eyes got brighter on that day
And so he helped me to really see
He paid to cost for my exam
So that I would not have to crawl upon my knee
So preachers came and so they left
And must now I put it to the test
I must declare with truthfulness
Horatius was differently the best.
