Metaphors Of Love Poem by Dr Dolston L Morian

Metaphors Of Love

Love is like a rose its fragrance so sweet
It perfumes the air and t'is pleasant to greet
Defusing its scent, oh, what a stunning smell
Never to be kept in a bottle or a polished oriental shell.

Love is like a leaf on the wind it can sail
Majestically moving like in a gentle gale
With rhythm and ease it moves with a dance
Preparing you for love in the play of romance

Love is so much like a brilliant night star
Twinkling a miraculous light from the distance so far.
Moving at unbelievable speed they say
Never loosing its chartered course along the way.

Love is like rain that fall from above
Its gentle drops, pitter and patter on the rooftop
No one is exempted from it refreshing flows
It waters the hills, the fields, and the valleys below
So love is like the rain.

Love is like a clock ticks and tocks without rest
Be patient with its action do not get depress
It has a way of resolving small and great things
So stand steady dear child and get ready to sing.

Love is like a paintbrush flat and smooth
Use it to paint life with amazing splashes of hues
It is that brush we so desperately need
Be content with your portion and never with petty greed.
Wow! Love is the beauty we see in everything.
