My Sight Is Lost Poem by Kail Montoya

My Sight Is Lost

My sight is lost,
I know not where,
Darkness has fallen,
And I do not care,
My life is forfeit,
As my heart is bare,
I step no further,
As none do dare,
All are spent,
As a breath of air,
My blindness bleeds,
As none are fair,
They have taken all,
But to where?
And all I wanted,
Was an heir,
But to what end,
Is but to care,
For my life is dry,
And I do not care.
