My Sky Poem by Namita Rani Panda

My Sky

Rating: 5.0

Life is not at all a burden
If your sympathetic shoulder is there to lean on,
My love for you is a vast ocean
I doubt, to you if it's at all known.
I anxiously wait for the union
When you'll hide me in your wide empyrean
And I will embrace you with your stars and moon
To be absorbed in you to absorb your gloom.
But my wish is reduced to a sigh.
I know you are too vast to be confined in my arms, my sky!

Passionate feelings of love expressed beautifully but the gulf between two loving hearts needs to be bridged through bold initiative. Thanks, Dear Poet.
