My Son Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

My Son

My son,
Heed to my muse and learn my words;
My son,
Listen to my words and learn from my muse;
For, you need the deeds of your father to grow up.

Low, sow, flow, grow, mow, throw, tow, marrow, row, slow, wow!
For you need the deeds of your father to move on;
But, learn how to respect others as well.

Now, bow, blow, brow, allow, pillow, wallow, arrow, willow, how? !
For the wages of sin is death;
And, you need to learn from the positive aspects of life only.

Crow, cow, show, prow, vow, yow, swallow, fellow, follow, glow!
Only with the muse of the positve characters of life;
So, listen to my words and learn from my muse.

Try to overcome the needs of life by feeding your brain with love,
And move on to achieve your positive goals in life;
For, not all that glitters around you is gold.
