My Soul And I Poem by Stephen A. Codekas

My Soul And I

Walking along the dark wood
My soul and I, stood still

To hear a whisper, if we could,
And when we heard until our fill

We diverged along a different path;
He going left, and I right,

And kept on steadfast
To converge once more upon this night.
