My Soul Mate Poem by Joshua Mccoy

My Soul Mate

I would die a lifetime of loneliness without her. She truly is my easing sun that inspires me to wake up each morning. I would give up anything just to return even a fraction of the vast amount of happiness she has brought me. I cry for her presence when my heart is about to break and I always want her at my side at all times.
Not just in the public’s eye but alone as well.

I want to write her five letters a day if I was of my own free will but events from this complicated world strip me of writing the sweet words from my longing heart yearning to touch hers. If the rays of intense love my heart shines upon her at the sound of her soothing voice were not returned or reflected, my lungs would receive the irreversible order to shut down completely. If she turned to a violent nature despite my eternally loyal servitude, I would withstand the wrath of hell at its best just to keep the privilege to hold her hand. If she was to take leave of my life, I would cry myself of all bodily fluids and fall over a dry empty husk and shatter to pieces upon impact with the ground. I would be hopelessly lost without her, I miss her more than the need to breathe to sustain life. I love her more than the number of leaves in a limitless tropical rain forest. I need her more than I need lungs and a heart. I want to hold her more than the degree of a thousand suns put together. A name is forever etched upon my heart: (yours)

I Love you
