My Souls Desire Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

My Souls Desire

My inner world, a gentle stream,
Of feelings flowing, like in
a dream.
My thoughts, like clouds, drift as foam,
My life, my home, where I can roam.

Each sunrise brings a brand new day,
New whispers urging me to play.
Each moonlit night, a quiet space,
To find my muse, to find my grace.

My own reflection, clear and bright,
My life's own story, day and night.
This well within, so wide and deep,
Secrets my mind, will always keep.

No hand can stop this inner fire,
My own true spirit, and my desire.
To paint with words, what I embrace,
In my own rhythm, time, and place.
