My Truth Poem by PRAVEEN KUMAR English Poems

My Truth

When I crack shell and peep within,
I find irresistible beauty alive there
In golden aura enmeshed closely with
Diamond glitters in kaleidoscopic colors,
Like the sun at the center amidst planets
Or lovely queen majestically on her throne,
Spellbinding around with dazzling crown,
Holding royal court with minions around;
I can't surmise why channels now broke
‘Tween the within, and obvious without.

Strings are same; discourses, too same,
The vaulting dooms holding the two, same;
Both are built up on the same bedrock,
Why this day and night from the same sun?
Stormy cruel night of fatal floods outside
While divine peace and solace deep within;
It is east and west, or the north and south,
How can that twain ever blend in to one?
How can I ever marry heaven to the earth?

It was earthquake, a soul-churning storm,
A tsunami that washed all to graveyard;
It froze me to stillness like arctic ice sheet,
I thought I never come out of this plight;
Long was the passage I traversed since then,
Ups and downs with eyes filled in tears,
Holding down joys and ignoring my falls
As fireflies for those confronted the sun,
Yet quailing never on to my distant post.

Long is the path I walked since then,
Confirmed in heart that fate wronged lot,
Mangled me to mess and hurt like a pest;
I took to my stride all that came during ride
And reached a stage of looking to the past;
While looked at each in isolation as a piece,
While I looked at them as a string of flowers,
Like the sun at noon and refreshing dawn,
I find heaven and earth differences there.

When I creep deep down and probe within,
Find auriferous earth embedded far within;
Each pieces a pain; but set to magical string,
I find divine jewel dazzling at my front;
Each pain pools to ocean of honey milk,
I never thought exist in my troubled course;
Each fit in like one perfect see-saw puzzle,
And I wonder at the skill nature plays over here
While hiding her tricks from her little kids.
