My Voice Poem by Yoyama Magwashu

My Voice

Hey. Let me speak,
I wish I were a love poet so I could dedicate every love poem to you, but now that you know I am not, I have to dedicate my whole heart and love to you.
They say beauty and brains does not match, I guess they haven't met you yet.
You're one of the smartest and prettiest human being on Earth.
I truly bless the day you were born,
Because your creation has to be the most beautiful masterpiece on this land.
To be honest there is something wrong with my eyes because I can't take them off from you.
You are the answer to all my prayers, God has specially made you for me.
True fact, your hand was meant to be held by mine.
I thank the Lord cause my loneliness has finally come to an end,
You are my everything. My start and my end.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
There are many ways of expressing love, and most people have one or two ways that they most commonly demonstrate affection. Sharing the depth of your feelings in your heart takes emotional risk and courage, as it can make you feel exposed and vulnerable. Some people express and feel love through gift-giving. Giving flowers, clothes, a favorite treat, or a handmade item is one way people demonstrate that they are thinking about you.
