My Vows Poem by Yoyama Magwashu

My Vows

Rating: 5.0

Let me make my vows:
They say Disneyland is the direct source of happiness,
but in my case, it has always been you.
I used to not believe in God until he gave me you.
Now I'm finding myself staring at your pictures for hours,
because this distance is killing me.
Each and everytime I see your smile I get goosebumps and,
I grew up chasing butterflies only if I knew that you will be giving me one.
I feel so drunk everytime I take a look at you, sometimes I wish I could run.
But running is not a solution, can you please give me a son.
Now that I am free and alive, I would love to live a life with you, can you please be mine?
Dear DANDELIONS I wish the love of her life be found in me,
because that is the only way to see the best things in life.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A vow is a solemn promise or assertion. You know those cute yellow flowers you see in the grass? Or have you seen round, white poofs of fluff that you can blow into the air to make a wish? Those two flowers are the same flower. They're called "dandelions, " which comes from the French words for "lion's tooth." They're bright and friendly-looking, but grown-ups can't stand them.
