My Void Poem by White Roses

My Void

Rating: 4.5

I reach towards the sky,
but then all I see is the moon.
So the next day I reach for the stars,
but the darkness always surrounds me before I do.
I try and try but it always catches me.
A void is where I am,
where darkness is all around me,
I see no light around me.
But there is a chill around me,
my will is slowly breaking.
And the clock is slowly ticking,
and now I'm slowly dying.
Til one day the ticking slowly stops,
but my heart slowly loses it's rythme.
Til finally it just stops.

A depressed mind that languishes in a state of hopelessness well depicted in the poem. Faith is the only remedy here. FAITH KEEPS THOSE THAT KEEP THE FAITH - Mother Teresa. I like the articulation of the piece. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
