Spring Poem by Yoyama Magwashu

Spring

Rating: 5.0

3rd season of the year.
The birds are singing a sweet harmony,
With a chant that attracts living ears.
Admiring the bloom of the trees while feeling morning's air.

3rd season of the year.
I picked up a Buttercup that caught my attention,
I planted it in my secret garden even pollinating agents won't even notice.
I love the fact that it's the only plant that I'm watering.

3rd season of the year.
The season of blessings,
The season of new beginnings,
The season that I picked up a Buttercup
🤍

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A time of rebirth as the natural world wakes up and revives after going dormant in the winter months. In spring, our days start getting longer, flowers begin to bloom, and warmer weather allows us to spend more time enjoying the outdoors. Buttercups may be simple and humble in appearance, but they're meaningful flowers and hold deep symbolism. Their beautiful shades of yellow is what sets them apart from other Ranunculus flowers and makes them immediately identifiable.
