My Will Poem by yakubu abukari n

My Will

When I die, please don’t cry
Rather, pray for my soul
Because Janna is my goal
And when you bury me
When you cover me in dust
Rather than bicker over my property
Why don’t you pray for me as well as fast
Care for my progeny
If I have any
Care for my wife
She deserves a good life
Care for any parent if alive
Treat them well till they too arrive
No memorial shall be erected in my name
Let me leave just as I came.
Bury me as Rasul would have done
And be frugal as much as you can
For I hope to smell the breeze of Paradise
And not become food for serpents and mice
So please, just pray for me, pray for me
I am begging, can’t you see!
So, when I die, please don’t cry
Rather, pray for my soul
Because Janna is my goal
