My Will To Breathe Poem by Nichole Marie

My Will To Breathe

Rating: 4.8

Hello can wait
Hello my fate
Love is beauty. Blackened eyes
See right through me. Love's demise

Jealous perception of a sea.
Wish she had her beauty.
Green and blue waves
Against her sister sky
And the sun shown down above her
Highlighting her innocent wonders with sparkling rays
But impurity was cast inside her
As she aged.

And looking on the starlit night
The navy dark among the bright,
But lacking contrast,
Stars wont shine,
as they don’t among the light.

The green it soon withers brown
Drained of life, falls to the ground
But as it matters?
Does it not?
It is life,
Brought to the wrought.

And all must end,
And all must rust,
In a suffocating dust
With gusts of wind that
Blow from thee
Love and spite and jealousy,
with it comes my will to breathe.
Goodbye can wait.
Hello my fate.
