My World Poem by Adams King

My World

Rating: 4.3

As tender as the touches of a baby
With feelings of great ecstasy
Deep into my heart you touched me

Like a miracle of many wonders
Like love from a sweet mother
You gave me joy in abundant

The road was dark before I met you
I never witnessed a sky of blue
Nor have a breath of pleasant perfume

In my chase I always fell and stumble
Until you amended my heart been broken
With heavenly touches so gentle

I was nothing but a withered leaf
A broken man, victim to love's own thieves
You made me green and gave me relief

You're my sunshine on a Monday morning
You're my comfort whenever I'm lonely
You're my river of milk and honey

You're my brightest midnight star
You're but sweet wine in a golden jar
You mended my soul and healed my scars

Even if English alphabets be made more
It still won't be enough to make you a word
you're my paradise, you're my world
