My World In Yukon - Poem by Marilyn Lott

As I get up in the morning
So anxious to watch the sun rise
My camera is in my hand
For each day is a new surprise

For the sunrises are the best way
To start the day out right
Driving along I see oil pumps
Oh, what a wonderful sight

Spending time with family in
The perfect place to live
For Yukon is the city, my friend
That has everything to give

Old homes that have seen
Many better days than now
But out in a nearby field
You’ll still see horses and cows

And then at the end of the day
As I watch the falling sun
I feel grateful for my life once more
My wonderful world in Yukon!
