Myanmar Cyclone Victim (3) Young Blood, Cyclone Flood Poem by U Win Kyi

Myanmar Cyclone Victim (3) Young Blood, Cyclone Flood

They are fresh in mind,
sharp in eye,
brave in heart,
filled with love,
wiping dry the bleeding of patients with a swab.

They are gentle in manner,
treating the patients with tender,
dressing the wounds with much care.
Their selflessness so remarkable without compare.

They are soft in consolation speech.
For hungry stomach they would feed.
For ill patients they would treat.
The patient's complaints they would heed.
Their kindness is so great indeed.
For their own benefit they never seek.

They are young in age,
but a great sacrifice they really make.
Their contribution is so great,
for the well-being of patient's sake.
The flow of their sympathy can't be braked.

They are the young doctors or the Young Blood,
much mightier and redder than the Cyclone Flood.

(dedicated to Young Doctors who go to Cyclone -hit delta region to
save the victims)
