Myrtle Leaves Are Sounding Poem by james watkin

Myrtle Leaves Are Sounding

Rating: 3.5

Myrtle leaves are sounding
Of what they know not
Except over a cot
They unfurl, unfurl.
Tell them this blows through it;
Spring's soft aired decree
For to shelter a glee
Of hatched finch, hatched finch!
