Myself; Again Poem by Waseem Sherif

Myself; Again

You’re not worth it, being my only love
Being my only sun, being my only dove

As time goes by, I see who you really are
I see through your lies, you a fainting star

But I must say I’m sorry for disturbing you!
I’m sorry for knowing your disgusting truth!

This place where I’m standing is pretty wide
All with colourful flowers and roses at my side

And you can be sure, they’re not you anymore
They are the reincarnation of my true core

From now on, you don’t belong on my land
For I found my path: I am myself again.
