Sense of similar ambiguities, running to all simplicities
Of a comforting in past occasions, and loving memories
New chapters now open, and a delving into new signals
Reached to me by passive control, of human mechanicals
Past definitions which, mode into daily social functions
But favouring which part of us, enjoys life’s distractions
To gain the fullest of encounters, in both of you and of I
I sit and watch the creeper progress, up the wall and sky
Beggar once asked me, for change and a cigarette lighter
So I took out a useless ten, so gifted him twenty Marlboro
As I walked away he said, I was a gentleman, in a smile
The memory will last forever, but it was only for a while
A sensation of generosity sealed, in a single mans mind
That we could all depart, from the daily thoughtless grind
So much strength in ourselves, to which we burn as smoke
Better we be all this way, than waste ourselves as we stoke
Walk down the street, back to the car as rain touches me
Natures kiss that is carried, upon a wind that I cannot see
Nourishing balance to which we do nothing, but interfere
Is it really that hard for us, to find differing ways to steer?
Tapping into this social network, of so many locked doors
That we encase our own love away, from our souls so sore
Paranoid that we may loose it all, if we just gave but a little
But only to lock it all away in our own personal, little citadel
Simplicities found, in a daily morning greeting is so unfelt
What can be done to one day, find your barriers start to melt?
Where we are going when we fear, to look to eyes of strangers?
Isn’t it extraordinary that we then risk, everything on wagers?
It is within us all if we could, just only give for just a second
And seek within you the messages, to help relief our burden
Time I feel is running out, as we just swallow our communities
Forever drift day by day, and never ask as we remain mysteries
